Group travel
Travel together. We handle the details.
Schools, universities, friends, faith communities, families and clubs. One A-1 coordinator plans flights, hotels, transport and tours for everyone, even when they fly from different cities.
Groups of every kind
Who we plan for
Every group travels differently. Here are the groups we plan for most often, and if yours isn’t here, we can plan for it too.
Schools & student groups
Educational trips, class trips and performance or competition travel, planned with teachers and group leaders. Rooming lists, chaperones and permission paperwork kept organized.
Universities & alumni
Study tours, faculty-led programs, conference travel and alumni trips, with flights from campus and from each traveler’s hometown.
Friends & celebrations
Milestone birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette trips, reunions or a getaway you’ve talked about for years. One plan for everyone, no spreadsheets.
Faith & heritage groups
Trips for churches, mosques, temples and other faith communities: sacred and historic sites, retreats and conferences, planned around worship times and dietary needs.
Family reunions
Multi-generation holidays and family visits abroad, with seats together, an easy pace and help for older travelers.
Weddings & celebrations
Destination weddings, honeymoons and anniversaries, with guests arriving from different cities and rooms held together near the venue.
Associations & communities
Cultural associations, community organizations and social clubs traveling to festivals, conventions and heritage trips.
Sports teams & clubs
Tournaments, training camps and fan trips, with hotels near the venue and planning for equipment and extra bags.
Traveling with coworkers? Meetings, conferences, incentives and team trips are handled by our corporate travel team.
The group difference
Why groups book with A-1
One coordinator, start to finish
Your group gets one A-1 agent for questions, changes and late additions, from the first quote until everyone is home.
Group air fares
Airlines offer special fares for groups, usually 10 or more people on the same flights. We request them and compare them with regular fares.
Everyone from their own city
Travelers can leave from Dallas, Houston, New York or anywhere else, and still arrive close together.
Rooms and transport together
Hotel rooms held as a block, private coaches and airport transfers, so no one is left behind.
Planned around your group
Halal, vegetarian or kosher meals, prayer and worship times, accessibility needs and an easier pace for older travelers.
Support on the road
Reach us 24/7 by phone and WhatsApp while your group travels, for delays, missed connections or anything else.

Common questions
How many people make a group?
Airlines usually offer group fares for 10 or more travelers on the same flights. We also plan trips for smaller groups of friends and family.
Can travelers fly from different cities?
Yes. We book flights from each traveler’s city and time them so the group arrives as close together as possible.
How far ahead should we book?
Six to twelve months ahead gives the best flight and hotel options for groups, especially for summer, holidays and school breaks.
Do we need every traveler’s name right away?
Usually not. Group bookings often let you reserve seats first and send names later, by a deadline the airline sets. We tell you every deadline up front.
Do you plan school and youth trips?
Yes. We work with teachers and group leaders on rooming, chaperones and the consent forms minors need to travel abroad.
Can you plan around our faith or dietary needs?
Yes. Tell us about prayer or worship times, meal requirements such as halal, vegetarian or kosher, and anything else your group needs, and we build the plan around them.
Will we pay more than booking online?
No. We price-match online rates, so your group gets an agent’s help at the same price.
