From our family to yours
We know what a trip home means.
A-1 is a Dallas family business, so we know what a trip home really means. It’s Diwali with your parents, a cousin’s wedding, your children meeting their grandparents for the first time. Sometimes it’s a late-night call that someone back home needs you.
So we treat every ticket to India as if our own family were flying. Some of our travelers have booked with us for more than 20 years, and we would love to look after your family too. Call us and talk it through in Hindi, Urdu, Bangla or English.

Plan ahead
When families fly home
Knowing the busy seasons helps you book at the right time, with more seats and fares to choose from.
Festival season
October & November
Navratri, Durga Puja and Diwali move every year, and fares climb in the weeks before. Send us your dates as soon as you know them.
Wedding season
November to February
Weddings plus December school holidays make winter the busiest time to fly home. We can hold most reservations for 24 hours while the family decides.
Holi & spring break
March
Holi usually falls in March, and so does spring break in Dallas. Short trips fill up fast, so book early.
Summer break
June to August
When school is out in Dallas, many families go home for weeks. It’s monsoon season in much of India, so pack for rain.

Common questions
Which airlines fly from Dallas to India?
Most trips connect once, through hubs like Doha, Dubai, Istanbul or a European city. We compare Qatar Airways, Emirates, Turkish Airlines and others for your dates.
Can I talk to someone in Hindi, Urdu or Bangla?
Yes. Call 972-437-2626 and tell us which language you’d like. We’re happy to talk it through in Hindi, Urdu, Bangla or English.
Do my U.S.-born children need a visa for India?
Anyone traveling on a U.S. passport needs an Indian visa (many trips qualify for an e-Visa) or an OCI card. OCI is a lifelong, multiple-entry visa for people of Indian origin, and it can also cover their children and foreign spouses (after two years of marriage). In the U.S., OCI applications go through VFS Global for the Indian Embassy and consulates. See the official OCI site for eligibility and current requirements.
Can you book tickets for parents flying from India to Dallas?
Yes. We book trips that start in India too, and can ask the airlines for wheelchair assistance or special meals. Parents coming to visit need a valid U.S. visa.
Can you book trips to more than one city in India?
Yes. We can build multi-city itineraries, for example into Delhi and home from Mumbai, and compare them with round trips.
Do you book business class to India?
Yes. See our business & first class page, or mention the cabin you want in your request.
Will I pay more than booking online?
No. We price-match online rates, so you get an agent’s help at the same price. Tell us the fare you found when you send your request.
Can you hold a reservation while I decide?
Yes. We can hold most reservations for 24 hours while you confirm dates with family.
