Common questions

Is business class cheaper through a travel agent?

Often it can be. We compare published fares with our airline-contract fares on Qatar Airways, Emirates and Turkish Airlines where they apply, and we price-match online rates.

What’s the difference between business and first class?

First class is a smaller cabin with more space, privacy and personal service, and it flies on fewer routes and planes. On many routes, today’s business class suites give you much of that experience for much less. We’ll tell you honestly when first class is worth it.

Can I fly first class from Dallas?

On some airlines and routes, yes. First class cabins fly only on certain planes, and not every airline has one (Turkish Airlines, for example, sells business class as its top cabin). Tell us your trip and we’ll check what’s available for your dates.

Do all business class seats lie flat?

No. Most long-haul business class seats on the big international airlines turn into fully flat beds, but some older planes and shorter flights have recliner seats. We check the plane before you book.

Does a business class ticket include lounge access?

Usually, yes, on international business class tickets, in the airline’s own or partner lounges. The rules differ by airline and airport, so we’ll tell you which lounges your ticket includes.

Can I upgrade just one part of my trip?

Yes. We can price mixed-cabin trips, for example business class on the long overnight flight and economy on a short connection.

How early should I book business class?

As early as you can for holidays and festival seasons, when the few business class seats fill up fast. We can hold most reservations for 24 hours while you decide.

Can I earn miles on a business class ticket?

Yes. Give us your frequent flyer number and we’ll add it to the booking. Business class fares usually earn more miles than economy; the exact amount depends on the airline and fare.
